Hmmm.... A playmaker... Sounds good but is he any better than our current players?

IMO we shouldnt buy many players this summers, only a forward and let the youngsters come in as squad players

Brilliant if true
Way better than what we have

Has anybody actually watched him play, or just seen youtube vids?

According to transfermarkt he is a left footer, primarily left winger who can also play centrally or on the right.

6ft tall so he is a good size too. 5 goals and 5 assists for Bologna in 25 Serie A games this season, been subbed 14 times so fitness maybe not the best.

Praying this is true, strongly doubt it though.

I've seen him playing a few times this season. Obviously Bologna are not a big club for other fans to watch every week. I watch the big clubs games in Serie A. I've been impressed with him. Bologna have done very well this season and they are very difficult to beat.

Our lack of goals this season is because most of our goals come from our forward and defence players. Ramirez can create them and score as well

What I meant. We need our midfield players to score goals as well. Apart from Gerrard no one else does it. Hendo? Never. Downing? No. Spearing? One league goal between the three is a big failure and just not good enough.

Special, very special. But, and its a big but, he scores goals. Can't see him fitting in with the rest of my team. Most of them coast a bomb, but scoring doesn't seem to be part of the deal. Sign him? Rip his arm off. For such a big lad, he's very sure-footed. Better than his countryman? At least he and Luis actually speak the exact same language and would be able to communicate. That would be nice, wouldn't it? YNWA JimmyTheRed
