Surprised you haven't mentioned this on here BRFCS have a thread glorifying him as some type of hero.
Can't say I'm particularly surprised. Heard last year he had a terminal illness but said nothing.
I'm sure if there is such thing as an afterlife Jack will have plenty to say to him.
Now you can have a minutes silence for him and celebrate the return of your golden boy.
This Monday night come to Ewood! Celebrate 2 people who have done more than most to destroy the legacy of a great man!
Oh and any of you got your season ticket letters? Know where mine went might see how to get myself removed from the mailing list (not that I intend to be in this hellhole of a town much longer anyway)

I think John Taylor's mother said that she hopes "karma comes around" in relation to the so called "accident" wonder what she thinks now with the venkys situation. Maybe got her wish. Still I know Rovers fans try not to mention his death one of those uncomfortable truths you try to "sweep under the rug and forget" isn't it?
There's still games to go incase you haven't noticed.
I wouldn't be stunned if Rovers got something tonight one thing with Kean and Venkys tenure is that things certainly haven't been predictable at Ewood.

Well done Vinjay, first a pop at the Munich disaster now the tragic death of a football fan. Are you sure that moral highground really belongs to you as 99.9% of people seem to think you're an unintelligent bitter little gloryhunter!
And you still haven't answered my question, who are the bigger club, Rovers or City?

Pointed out facts. Not something for Rovers fans to be proud of was it? Before you have a go at me perhaps you could talk about idiots who do stuff like throw bins at people. Still one of those things that after the token minutes silence rovers fans conveniently don't mention isn't it?
How was I having a pop at him idiot? Why would I blame him for having a bin thrown at his head. It was rovers fans who did that but you never have a go at them do you. Yet you always had a go at me for the slightest things yet I've never been involved in racist chanting. I've never injured or killed other fans. I've never been kicked out of Ewood (last november aside) for drunken acts.
As for your question City are a massive club. Rovers were a massive club downgraded to big club status after Jack's death.
Bet you can't wait now. Thought you would be at Ewood already waiting to welcome the golden boy.

Oh and I'm teetotal (phrased that sentence badly) so while I have been kicked out of Ewood (on a non matchday) I've never been in a position to be influenced by alcohol.

Erm, Vinjay. Oscar De La Hoya has never been to a Rovers game before so god knows why you expect him to turn up at this one. Fool

Sir Thomas, I don't necessarily disagree but that just merely highlights this "big club" nonsense. It's usually only peddled by Sky Sports and armchair fans.
City are now one of the most attractive prospects for a professional footballer; spending power, wages, support, CL football etc.
However, as suggested, where do you draw the line? Rovers weren't as big a Club under Jack Walker as we were in the early 1900's but we were in the abyss from the 60's til Jack.
Vinjay failed to understand this concept being a plastic fan which is the reason for highlighting the issue...

By the modern era Rovers are the bigger Club having spent more seasons in the Premier League, having more trophies in the PL era, more top 4 finishes, a title, more European finishes...
