Liverpool/Everton... LAL

Liverpool are so poor again.

Behind their more likeable neighbours Everton in the league.

'King' Kenny has signed Carroll, Henderson, Downing, Adam etc for massive money as well as the over rated and more trouble than he's worth Suarez.

Then you look at Moyes, a great manager. He has not had much joy, having to sell Arteta, Beckford, Yakubu etc in the summer. But he signed Drenthe, Stracqualursi etc for peanuts and of course our very own Gibson who's done well since his move. Also got Pienaar and Donovan on loan and signed a player i think will be class in Jelavic at a bargain price.

Fair play to Everton, they deserve to finish above Liverpool, without a doubt.

Makes you feel sorry for Everton doesn't it? Their neighbours spending like there's no tomorrow and Everton who haven't got enough change to fit a tesco bag are finishing above them. Everton would have spent that 100m on quality players. It's sad Kenwright is a

Agree, let's hope Everton can keep their good form going

Man Utd and Newcastle aside, all of their games are easily winnable.

Let's not forget the hideous start Everton had to this season, and TBF, they get their share of bad breaks, and some. Moyes could do us a service by taking over from SAF - I realise a lot on this board want a proven winner, but Moyes has heart and soul and can do a lot with a little. He's never had a budget, and with our youth system and a bit of bankroll I could see him guiding us to plenty of success. Jose seems to like to travel around too much for my liking, and Moyes, given the job, would retire as our boss. I like the man, and would welcome him with open arms. There's Ole to consider as well, but I would hate to see us hire a manager that would lose heart if he didn't win all in the first couple of years. Blanc is my 3rd choice. Thes are men of conviction, soul, and grit. Seeing what Everton has achieved this season is inspirational.

Redd Raggs.

I agree, wouldn't mind seeing Moyes take over from Fergie at all.

I love that Carroll passed up his only chance of scoring a goal for Liverpool in something like 2,348 games by falling over like he had been shot like a lame racehorse (well more like a donkey really).

Long live King Benny!
