God we've lost 1 game in 8 what's wrong with you all? I'm confident we will beat city on Sunday more than I was of yesterdays match

It would be a disaster. If you want to be considered a big club the minimun requirement is champions lg football, it's the biggest stage with the biggest players, it's where everyone wants to be, it defines a clubs size and ambition.

I disagree with those saying it will be a disaster.

Firstly, i don't think we have too many players who will demand to move to a CL team if we miss out. No more than normally leave.

Secondly, we don't attract the top players, so I doubt the lack of CL football will have a weakening to our transfer dealings (Hazard/Goetze etc are not coming!!)

Thirdly i don't believe the financial implications will have that much of a negative effect on us. The tight barstewards who control the purse strings have loads of money stored away.

And the Europa League will be a good chance for the kids to get more run outs.



But none of the above matters as we will finish 3rd.

RVP will definitely leave though.

I don't think RvP will leave based on CL football.

It is not like we are favourites to win it anyway. If his decision is based on winning it he stands a far better chance of doing so at Barca, Real, or Man utd so if that is what he bases his future on he will go if we are in or out.

Pretty effing awful. Decreased revenues, terrible away trips and very difficult to attract all the top players. I couldn't bear it if Spurs and Chelsea got all of our top targets next summer.
