The way things are going up north it may have been easier to retain all our players and reinstate Brucie as our manager. Larsson, Gardner and now rumours of Dann going to Sunderland. Oh well, I guess it will give us a premier league interest next season apart from watching the Vile & Wolves battle against relegation.

Well if we do go bust and out of business thats one thing we can do, or maybe join back support for McLeish and join the Dark Side
I think right now we may have to sell off players ASP if Hughton wad to rebuild, because of these players Foster,Johnson, Dann, Jerome, Ridgewell i am not sure more than 1-2 would be happy to stay here.
If we can make £30M from those players and free up about say £100K (£5M) off the wage bill. Then as long as we can get half that wages and 1/3rd of cash raised so total of £15M to give to Hughton to rebuild we are going to be leaving it too late to build any kind of side that may even stay up let along get promoted.

anyone paying £10 million for a player who was injured for most of last season ,would be taking a big risk ,so if he does move ,i expect there will be add ons ,maybe £4 million up front and the rest in instalments ,i reckon Dann is our best player ,and will be sorry to see him go .kro.

good point Beesknee
I've thought since relegation that it would be in everyone's interest - Blues, Danns and the buying club for him to go in January. He's been out too lomg to command the price (and wages) he's really worth and needs a period to prove his fitness.
Plus, we'd possibly get a higher fee come January when desperate managers tend to do desperate things.
