Season over

Let's face it, we have blown automatic and the squad doesn't have the bottle to win via the play offs. Deano's gamble hasn't paid off. We are now condemned to lower league football forever now the wage caps will be brought in.

Happy Easter!

I've had my rant over this (maybe a bit OTT)..but Grayson's comments..."we passed poorly, sat too deep and the workrate was poor"..could be true of a lot of games thus far.

The only thing that bugs me is the workrate..because all that involves is running, you don't have to think or even control the ball.

There must be something that stops players from wanting to run, because not putting the effort in is really unforgiveable. There was only 7 games left of the season and they should be pumped up to the eye balls..

any ideas ?

It was NOT Over The Top Jacko .. It was all of it brilliant .. Lots of Emotion .. Tons a Passion and never ever doubt the fact that your a Poster who Oozes and Epitomises ALL that it takes to be a Town Fan and Supporter ..

Today I Luv You .. Tomorrow when you sneak a swervy ball post at me it'll be less so .. But my reasonably thick skin & deft ball control will as ever allow me to spin and flick such nougats Onwards .. and Upwards which is where The Town are going .. ..

the team are quite happy to accept the sneaky win or the lucky dtaw.. they are also quite happy to draw games from seemingly comfortable winning positions..
they got very excited about beating an, on the day, very ordinary charlton side.. lee clark and some of the players were very pleased with themselves after the 4-4 draw at wendies, forgetting almost immediately that at 2-0 up we conceeded 4 of the easiest goals we are ever likely to let in..
Its all been "just enough, no more" and "we are not losing, you should all be very happy and love us for our greatness has come amongst you" for the last 3 years.. we have won f-ck all and will continue to be potless unless the staff get a grip on the "egos"....

38. There is definately something unhealthy with this squad of players, but I'm blowed if I know where it comes from. You are right about how quickly we stop playing from a winning position, it's like the players can't wait to stop running around and just sit deep. This has punished us this season but we still do it. It's unbelievable really.

Graysons comments about 'poor workrate' at Carlisle is stunning, considering how important these last few games are.

Whatever you do as a player, you can always chase and harry the opposition, but if our players are not prepared to do that then we don't deserve jack sheet do we ?

marcus stewart had some bad days, so did boothy..they never stopped running, chasing and giving it 100% effort, even if the day was going from bad to worse..
we have had some bad teams at town in my time, we never had one that looked so disinterested as this lot do at times..
if its the pressure of being 4th in the 3rd division then most of them had better not be looking at moving up the leagues, because they will sh-t themselves weekly when the "pressure" gets worse.. it appears they simply cant handle being the "rolls royce" of the 3rd division, they can take the money but they are not "big enough" to actually earn it and they cant take a little stick....
like i said, wedndies manager and players apologised for their run of defeats, wilson has apologised for his team not being "good enough for the blades supporters", we get a middle finger from gary roberts(its a wonder he had the strength left to do it after his excertions on saturday..)

Of course Grayson can say what they did wrong, it isn't his team, trust me, the excuses fly out like cr@p after a meal of my mothers once it's his players making the mistakes.
