I'm lucky my friends looked beyond that. I had a Liverpool friend just texting me saying, 'Thank God we have 42 points or we'd be relegated this season.'

Never!!!!!!!! I genuinely hope he (kenny) single handedly ruins LFC and then self destructs! Kenny is a vile man, with no morals or self respect and the air of arrogance of a man that won trophy's by being gifted a great team, (LFC late 80's) then a sugar daddy at Blackburn, before being found out at Toon, and Celtic.

His comments to the press are laughable and his personal vendetta with SAF and united shone through perfectly during the whole Suarez issue. He trivialised the situation, and played up to the media to create a witch hunt for Evra but it back fired on him as the world united to show their disgust towards him and LFC.

I hope he gets the humiliation of being sacked by J.Henry, only then will he may learn some humility.

I had Liverpool-supporting mates on Facebook posting stuff like "at least we bettered Uniteds result here"...

I don't feel sorry for them in the slightest, their supporters are probably the most deluded, bitter self pitying bunch of plebs you could ever have the misfortune of meeting. They got rid of Roy Hodgson even though record at the beginning of his reign was the same as Kennys over the past 12-14 games, the way they go about "You'll Never Walk Alone" like it's some mantra to live your life by, the Suarez affair being an example of this, it's a song they stole from another club!

I don't think the league "needs" a good Liverpool team anymore than we "need" a good Spurs, Arsenal or Leeds team, i love the fact that they're a mess, it couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

I felt sorry for City when they hit league 1 (I think it was division 2 at the time) and kind of wanted them back in the premiership....

Given all the rubbish we have had off Liverpool and their fans, particularly this season towards Patrice Evra I am not sure I would have the same feelings.

Don't see it happening but Liverpool being relegated would be brilliant, more than happy to see them paddle around in mid table mediocrity for a few years and I think Kenny is the perfect man to do that.

i am wondering if we can end the season with double Liverpool's points tally.
