many blame our recent demise in the league due to the fact that we have nothing left to play for. well kenny certainly has a lot at stake. if he loses to everton in the cup (which currently looks likely) and fails to turn our current league form around, kenny will surely have to go. he will have saved liverpool, turning our short-term fortunes around but this season will be a complete failure if he fails to achieve the above. therefore we will have to say thankyou, but we want to move on.

i think everybody wants him to succeed but he simply is going about things the wrong way. i've seen nothing in the past weeks to suggest that our form will turn around. kenny has said nothing. a few weeks back we thought we were in poor form. gerrard came out mid-week before the everton game and said we need to pull ourselves together. low and behold we won.

kenny has done nothing. he looks depressed and clueless and thats rubbing off on the players. even being absolutely humiliated by newcastle, wasn't enough to give him a kick up the rear and change his mentality. he still tries to defend the in-defendable and is living in cloud cookoo land if he thinks andy carroll just fell over. the players are asking the same questions we are: 'whats wrong with kenny?' he's a completely different man from earlier in the season. he's lost it and needs to pull himself together before its too late. its down to him to motivate the players. gerrard did it for him before the everton game. why don't you do it this time kenny??

Players just can't be ar$ed, unless it's a big game

i think to be fair the players know whats wrong. we seem to play well for the large part. first 20mins v newcastle was pretty good. soon as newcastle scored, it was 'here we go again' same v QPR. the lads just have no confidence in their won ability. thats down to dalglish to install that confidence. he did it brilliantly when he first came in. now we have the exact same problems we had when he took over.

Philo, couldn't disagree more. Once they cross the line, its down to the players to show what they can do. Yesterday was an embarrassment; the players should feel ashamed of themselves. Your analysis of how the game panned out is spot on. As soon as their first goal went in, heads dropped. If, as an LFC player, you need someone else, such as the manager to buck you up and pull you together, what in God's name are you doing wearing a Red shirt? The current run is demoralising, I accept, but its time the players stepped up to the plate. I clearly have more confidence in Downing, Henderson and Adam. I take note of supporters of Andy C who say he isn't getting the supply in the way that benefits him. OK, thats a very fair point, but he needs to adapt too - not, help me Jesus to 'The Liverpool Way ' - but to a way in which the club benefits. Getting rid of Kenny would be a bad move in my opinion.
