When, Ash moved from Villa to United, typically like any Villa supporter I was sad to see him go. However, the impact, the performances he has put in for United have been something to applaud. I was so glad he didn’t follow the route of the muppets, Downing & Barry, that way he would’ve been a wasted talent. And, unlike Downing, he (Ash) has proven his worth in my opinion. One thing is for sure he will only improve & get better. I know that you may not rate him as your player of the season because there are those who have performed better, i.e. Valencia, and Rooney, but he has to be either your best buy or best impact player of the season. Still gutted to have seen him gone, but at least he's gone to win some titles...
Also, glad that you beat Blackburn because had you not then you would’ve dragged us further into the relegation scrap.
Ashley Young...

Worth remembering he is only 26 too.... we should be seeing his best years.
Valencia (26) and Nani (25) too.... If we can keep hold of them, we should be in for a treat.

SAF has managed the squad perfectly this season and Ashley Young is one of the players reaping the rewards by coming good just when needed. There were a few question marks over Young after a good start to the season but he has popped up with some important goals and good performances, Spurs away is his highlight of the season for me

You're one of my fabourite posters on here bud
I've been saying for two years how excited I am about the future of United and when SAF added Jones Young and De Gea to the mix, well wow, even better
If only we had got Sneijder eh? Manchester United would be complete
Within 2 or 3 seasons, I think we will be back at Europes top table with the squad we have. I just dont't understand why more people don't see it and just continue to talk utter bollox

Terrible display from Ashley Young today, he had several minutes on the pitch and all he did was score an amazing goal, run around and make some passes.
If we don't buy Ronaldo to replace him I am off to support Man City...

Lol, it is amusing that he is now supported to the hilt now. When the rumours of his arrival were raging this time last yr, it was rejected by most here pooring thier love. I used to watch a lot of villa games (so much that some ppl still think i am a villa fan) so i knew all this yet many wanted more from a winger with the mata and bale etc. I was one of the first to defend his move before one game in anger for us because i knew what he had to offer.
Now i hope ppl will understand when i say, this is not the best young has to offer, not even close. He is not doing the first thing we expect from our wingers to take on your man and get the cross in. His pace too is not what it was, maybe due to injuries, but it hinders his getting to the byline. He has had a lot of clangers before this purple patch and was roundly critisized. This is not the ashley young villa fans are used to, well not the one that played on the flanks for them.
He has been an above average player this yr, but not going to poor out accolades on him because he scored a goal because my accessment of players is what he does when he is not doing scoring. If he did not score yesterday what would you say his performance was?
I have seen him play for villa many times so i know what he can offer and this not close.

Young is one of those players who excites you when he has the ball. When he is on it, he is totally top draw for me. There's a reason he is Englnad's first choice LW and, as I brought up yestreday, he is in the top 20 assisters in PL history
I'm very glad we have him
I'd be amaxed if he doesn't start on Sunday. A fresh as a daisy Ashley Young on one side, a Valenicia in fantastic form on the other, they could tear QPR to bits

Even as a Birmingham fan I have to say that Ashley Young on a good day is unstoppable, one of the best young (no pun) players England has right now!
