Does anyone know whats really going on?

From the outside and i can't get further from than the inside where i am in the sandpit.
But what is happening is there something we don't know about has Pearson lost the dressing room? Has he been told by the owners what he's got to do and doing it?

The only thing i am certain is we need to keep the owners!!! So as long as our petty bickering stay here and on the moanin that's ok . BUT we most show support for the team and attendances must not drop and please don't boo the players or management.

Pearson is the manager whether we like it or not and the owners will know what a disaster getting rid of one manager halfway through the season was and hopefully they wont do it again.

That does not mean to say Nigel will automatically be the manager at the start of next season.

"i am just seeing mirages in the Desert"

That actually sums up our season pretty well.

A family member of mine said at the time we signed Beckford, that Beckford has now signed Sven's death warrant, and he will be gone by Christmas.

As we all know he went quicker than that.

It would be better if this time the player went.
Your paid a wage to do a job, if we don't like it you move on, not sulk or behave with little respect to everyone else.

I concur with Dungeon, therefore I concur with Joby.

I don't see a rift between Pearson and Beckford if I'm honest with you. Whether you like Beckford's attitude or not (I don't) he is a decent championship striker.

He is extremely one dimensional and for this reason I'd quite happily see him leave in the summer. Nugent can do the sane job (and others) better in my opinion.

But the fact that Beckford is in the team, playing and (albeit begrudgingly) doing things he's bot used to all suggest to mr that he and Pearson's relationship is fine. The fact that Pearson didn't publicly criticise him on Saturday also suggests this to me.

I think mixed results are causing people to read too much in to certain situations.

Whether Pearson and Beckford decide that they are not suited to each other in the summer is another matter, but Pearson gas handled him very well for me.

As for the rest - Joby has it spot on.

I concur with Mersey and so Dunge and therefore Joby.

I would actually say the team spirit has improved since Sven left and that is one thing Pearson did get into the side the last time he was here. If you're willing to play for him, then he'll get the best out of you (see Hobbs, Fryatt, Waghorn etc.).

Team spirit is undoubtedly a vital quality in any successful side. Man Utd have it in abundance which has helped them over the years. I think this is born out of continuity and patience. Given a full pre-season and a summer to get dissenting figures out, I'm sure Pearson can get the team spirit within the club.

What's going on? Don't bother asking Marvin Gaye, he seems none the wiser as well.

You are right Nev - the absolute must is to keep and show support for the owners. The key is turning up through the turnstiles and then supporting the team- it seems to me we have settled over the past 5 or 6 games (allowing for away support) at around 19/20,000. It also is apparent that this core support really gets behind team and atmosphere has been good. When we get extra 3/4000 these seem to be more prone to booing or moaning at the game.

I am worried re owners as I have posted before and perhaps am over sensitive to situations -the club web page now seems almost devoid of King Power advertising or Thai Airways .....don't seem to have seen any Thai holiday winners last few home games either.

Also here we are in April with no sign of season ticket sales push -

Anyway they cannot be happy at results or repeated unhappy squad issues which is very much at odds with their business culture and approach

I just want to clear one thing up. Pearson has not lost the dressing room. There are signs for it in reception and most of the stadium staff know where it is so don't worry about that.
