How bad a shout would it be for him to be next manager
He knows the way we like to play and his team plays fantastic football ?
I know half of you will say we need a top manager from abroad to attract top players, but what if we get someone in who totally changes the direction we are going in, and does not give players like caulker a chance in the team ?
This summer is going to be massive for us and i just hope we get it right
Hopefully with 3rd place finish and FA Cup under our belt we will have plenty of money and pulling power to make a couple of top signings to add to a already fantastic squad

I'm still optimistic RRP that Harry will stay, he was talking about next season the other day as if he was going to be manager. But that's Harry for you, we never know.

"Anyone still think Harry might turn down the England job ?"
If Pep is waiting, I hope not.

I said from day 1 i cant see Harry wanting to leave, ESPECIALLY if we do make the CL again...Time will tell i guess, but Harry is saying all the right things about being in charge next season etc...but thats just Harry

i'm a little more positive harry will stay....i think he hoped the FA wld be falling over themselves to get him....
stalling has given him time to think and maybe he's not so keen now....

Well the FA have shown how lethargic they are over this and by their dithering could have persuaded Harry he is better off at Spurs, I certainly hope so.
As I have said previously I do not think the England job would suit him, he likes to be in daily contact with players and loves to look forward to the matches every week!

I remember when a lot of us wanted Coyle did well last season, but would you take him now?
Didn't think so...

exactly doovde.. so many people wanted coyle.. both on here and other spurs fans .... ridiculous.. on the back of a reasonable job at bolton...
just because he was flavour of the month.
i think rodgers is better than coyle..but he needs to prove it over time.

I haven't read through this whole article, but for me, Brendan Rodgers' stinky spell at Reading is still very fresh in my memory. Also, I am not convinced that being appointed as his number 2 by Mourinho, necessarily makes him a candidate for the Tottenham job.
I can never understand why so many people seem to believe that a manager who has one good season in the PL, immediately is seen as the ideal man to sustain a top 4 position in the PL season after season, which is what we should be looking for.
Wasn't George Burley the new Alex Ferguson not so long ago, on the strength of taking a little club into the PL and playing good football and defying all the odds ??
Rodgers has a lot going for him at the moment and credit to him for what he has done and is continuing to do. But as a manager of our club within the next few months ?? Too early in my opinion.

Next appointment is so crucial. Has to be a proven manager in my opinion
