Voting has started. Think it's quite tough tbh because no one from the squad has performed consistently throughout the season but alot of the squad have been very good in patches. My shortlist is Terry, Ramires, Mata, Ivan and Luiz, and, although Mata may seem the obvious choice, I actually think Luiz has been the best player this year. In so many poor games from us, paticularly in Jan/Feb, he was the one positive and, despite what the media would like to think, he's been good nearly all season, and, for me, has had more good games than anyone else.

Mata will probably win though, and I definately wouldn't complain if the does!

Torres only started playing at a decent level in the last month. Ridiculous to include him.

Mata has been distincltly average for a while now.
Ivanovic, Terry and Luiz have all put in beastly performances but also were poor at other times of the season.
So for me it's got to be Ramires

I think over the whole season, Mata, Sturridge and Terry have been our best players, in no particular order.
