Is anyone else a tad disappointed by this card?
The main event to me is a good one. I think Rashad, due to his background as a HeavyWeight and the fact that he is an excellent strategist, might push JJB close...
However the rest of the card seems to be very weak. I can normally pick out 3 or 4 other fights I'm excited to see (as I can for UFC146), but this card has me scratching my head. Seems to be filled with UFC journeymen.
Thoughts?

Yeah he has got lightening hands. If JDS wins I can see him staying champion for a while because theres a massive difference in quality between JDS, Overeem & Valasquez compared to everyone else and if JDS wins hes beaten the best the division has to offer

I agree, if he wins, he stays as number 1 for a long time.
Maybe he steps down to LHW to face JJB, or maybe JJB steps up to HW to face him?
I think either are feasable options. JDS walks around at about 240 afterall, which is about the same as Rampage.

Replacement should be Frank Mir who is a more deserving contender anyway imo, and a fight i'd more look forward to seeing.

Mir will be destoyed.
This is a sad day for the UFC.

Milfage, old Buddy, Im a fan of Mir, but he's not in the same class as JDS.
Mir was destroyed by Carwin, who was subsequently destroyed by JDS.
Mir won't be able to take JDS down and he definitely won't outbox him, so how does Mir win this fight?

I agree that JDS is brilliant, I just don't agree that Mir would be "destroyed"... I'd love to see the fight, as if Mir COULD get JDS to the ground I think he'd have a real chance of winning with his BJJ
Seems Dana is sticking with Mir vs. Velasquez anyway, so we'll probably have to wait
