Zigic seems to be making more of a consistent contribution lately, partnering with King. He's had a lot of stick in the past, with the playoffs looming (fingers crossed we'll make them), does anyone feel more confident about him now.
He's scored some pretty crucial goals for us in the past, but also missed some howlers that could have been match changers.
I'd be interested in anyone's opinion.
Striking Partnership??

Zigic is one of those players who sometimes struggles to make an impact in games, perhaps because he is prone to being outplayed by certain types of defenders? If he starts slowly, he often fails to impove.
I think him and King are developing a decent partnership, CH clearly now likes starting with them both and I would not be suprised to see them both play every game to the end of the season. My only problem is that at times we can be overrun in midfield with 442 like we were against Cardiff, but I expect this problme to disappear once Fahey is back alongside Ndaw hopefully from Saturday.

I think CH has been looking for some consitency.
After having a 'perfect team' that could do no wrong, then things going into turmoil resulting in our recent lack of form, and now things are turning round - I can see this partnership going on till the end of the season. The rest of the team will have to cope with opposition!

I think he has been brilliant in the last few games, & we may not have the positive results without his impact in the penalty box. Quite liked him anyway, but now he's superb. The rest of the team need similar recognition, only focussing on Zig because that is the the subject here. He also has a great sense of humour which helps the team morale a lot.

Zigic has started to come good but he still goes missing in some games, like last night in the second half. The ball just doesn't stick to him.
I do like him but I prefer him from the bench to be, he causes more hassle when coming on for the last 20 minutes, although his partnership has looked good with King these last few weeks.
If he scores the goals to get us promoted he will be fully supported and probably here next season, if we fail to go up he will probably be gone as surely we can't afford his £50k a week for another season in this division.

We need him to play well and be well recognised either way. Either to get us up, to stay and keep us up, or to leave and get us some cash.
