It depends on how it is dealt with by stewards and police that makes the difference.
---------------
Not it doesn't, not one bit.
Celtic fans ran on to the pitch and a fan was arrested for assaulting a police officer. However the police handled the game does not excuse one of the officers being assaulted.
FFS it's Australian cops here. You don't get much more laid back than the aussies. If you were accusing Eastern European cops of being a bit too heavy handed I'd maybe take notice.

11 fans outta 17000..Where is yer perspective?
-------------------------
Oh ok let's apply that logic to the last Hearts Celtic game. It was only one fan out of about 15000 that got on the pitch and assaulted someone, where's your perspective?

How is it not the same thing? A fan broke on to the pitch and assaulted someone. Whether it was Neil Lennon or a policeman, he still assaulted someone. In the eyes of the law it's the same offence. I know you lot worship like some kind of God but to the police he's still just a bloke, just like the policeman your fan assaulted in Oz.
An assault is an assault charge, doesn't matter who it's committed against.

Db read my earlier posts and get the full picture of what I said and meant. If you had you could have saved yourself from posting.

Cossy. I was responding to Hector.
He said a Celtic fan being arrested for for assault is for some reason not the same as a Hearts fan. Not sure why.
