I'd agree with Rees, and one off Ford or Best but I think you have to have Dylan Hartley there. Love him or hate him he's better than the latter two and will give the former a good run for his money. Against Australia a tough strong pack with a bit of "dog" to them will give the Lions the upper hand and the opportunity to release their backs, and for that I think Hartley is essential

depends on the youth if the team for me. if its a young team, which i have no problem with, but i would not let Hartley with in and ass's roar of it. If the team has enough experience to control him then i would not argue with his selection. He needs a bit of direction. Rees is probably the best choice, with Best the no2.

As with the props I think Rees is picking up niggles. Hartley is a decent shout, Hibbard is a long shot if he sorts out his fitness and throwing!!

I'll take the same three as the Captain but in reverse order.
Ford shouldn't be overlooked just for playing in a rubbish team and Rees shouldn't be over-rated just because he plays for a very good one.
