None of the current England team are fit to lace Gazza`s boots, at his peak the best player England has ever had in my opinion.

Chronic - Yeah same. Although I would prefer to see Spurs have success over England, it is kind of sad that the lack of our coutry's success has turned many people away from international football and put the club over and above international.

as you are no doubt aware, nowhere in that article does gascoine say that he regrets joining spurs.

the fact is that he didnt. he loved spurs to bits, which is why he was so cut up about leaving and went out in that final like he did.
