Checking the gossip columns (yes I know the clue is in the name) and a few sources seem to think we have made a £20m bid for Stewart Downing.

IF the above is true Wenger has completely lost the plot. If he wasn't for the fact that he is left footed he would be plying his trade in the Blue Sq division. The guy is a joke and if this is true or we do sign him I think the fans should revolt until the board and Wenger resign.

Young Guns Blog and many other trustworthy sources say that Gervinho will sign on Monday because he's on a short holiday over the weekend so will come back and sign then.

Mata, Alvarez, Falcao and Subotic. We can realistically get two of those four though.

The red tops so don't know what is going on.
Wenger said he liked Downing a few years back, so they just pop him in as a target cause they havn't got a clue.
