We have two routes to champions league football next season, one via our league position by finishing in the top 4 and the other by winning the champions league itself.
In the league we trail our closest rivals for a top 4 place by 3 points and having a more difficult set of games then them to follow, while in the champions league we have to overcome probably 2 of the top 3 club teams in europe i.e barcelona, real madrid, bayern munich.
I think it will be fair to say that we wont be able to cope with both the task ahead simuntaneously .so if we had to choose only one route for a place in next year's ucl which one would you suggest and should we use the other competition to try out our fringe players??
What should Chelsea Fc do??

Lets really be honest here, we have a much better chance in the league than the CL. So as much a CL would be nice, has to be the league

I don't get the negativity.
There is no easier fixture list at this stage of the season. Look at Arsenal for example, they lost to QPR but beat City. It all depends on who turns up.

our greatest bet is over-taking Arsenal
=======
I know we play each other, but surely over-taking Spurs (1 win in 7) is the better bet compared to overtaking Arsenal (2 points ahead of Spurs and 7 wins from 8 games)?

But being realistic before today your games were much more harder than Spurs, e.g. i expected you to drop points today and also vs stoke away and expected us to drop points vs liverpool and then if we won vs u we would manage to get 4th, but as i said after today i can't see us over-taking you or spurs. I know spurs have been poor but they've got about 1/2 hard games and we have about 3

Surely playing Blackburn, Bolton and QPR who are all fighting for survival is harder than playing Fulham and Liverpool who are safely in midtable?

Fulham's a local rival and we always turn up for the bigger matches.
We only turn up for the bigger matches

Yeah but my point kinda still stands.
Spurs have 1 win in 7. We have won 5 of our last 7 games I think.
All to play for!

good luck
if you knock spurs out of the cl then harry is gone and probably a couple of key players
which wouldn't bother me at all
