SIMON GRAYSON

Does anyone else believe that had it not been for the whole affair and Andy O'Brien saga, things might have worked out differently? Yes, I know we lost Gradel and Howson, but I think the behind-the-scenes actions of Grayson were particular factors in his downfall. Things appeared to be looking up under Grayson without any off-field distractions, but after our 3-0 win at Doncaster earlier in the season, rumours started circulating about the affair and then not long after, the O'Brien business. Surely the results that followed can't have been a coincidence.

So what do others think?

No one actually cared about the fact he was in a relationship with a staff member after he had already split from his wife (they had been living apart for a while)

Its just people on here who just want to use it as another nail in his coffin.

Have you heard anyone involved in the club pass any comment on it?

I always liked Grayson - came across as a proper fan, loyal and took us up.

However, something went wrong. Bates clearly had no faith in him. He didn't back him. We lost Beckford, Johnson, Howson and Gradel and never replaced one of them. For me, not Grayson's fault but Bates.

Grayson spent a lot on stupid loans and I think Bates lost trust.

Despite recent performances, I have 100% faith in Warnock. I believe Bates will back him - otherwise he wouldn't have come here. I think he will sign players he knows and trusts and expect us to mount a serious campaign in August.

You always argue that Grayson had lost the dressing room and that the players didn't want to play for him. Looks like they don't want to play for Warnock too??.

How?

When a full years worth of football showed he was not good enough.

Last season he had max, snoddey howson and becchio and not even in top 6.

Grayson had lost the dressing room.

We saw players showing commitment v reading hard to keep that up when you're down to 20 men game after game and know you're not being retained either.

Stupid Grayson legacy.

I know we have a big squad but we ain't allowed anymore than 11 on the pitch at any one time.

Perhaps his blueberry is possessed by a buffoon with chubby fingers, who types so excitedly whenever Leeds lose that he makes silly errors, but who appears to be becalmed whenever Leeds win and for some reason he barely posts!

Just a thought.
