Afternoon
So having been mentally busy moving house recently I realised I missed the game last night and got depressed when I saw the score line. The issue being that as I have been skint I havent renewed my season ticket yet.
I am now able to but am struggling to find the motivation to spend the money at the moment when we have a team of players who put less effort then I did into last nights game.
Are other season ticket holders similarly holding back or are people up for next season come what may?
On the bright side it does look like we have avoided relegation this year so something to smile about!

I used to live 6 tram stops from Old Trafford and yet the journey back wasnt any easier last year! I am genuinely not sure I would go to Wembley as it stands right now as I dont have the confidence we will not be humiliated again.

Out of the four of us who go,, One is still as keen as mustard "what else would we do on a saturday", He will also say as he did on saturday that "we are cursed, always let us down, but it is the social booze and the laugh", ,, He does not play golf whereas the other two and myself do !,,,,,, Like a record that sticks though, It is not the "shower of players" Clark collected, It is not the thought of being in league 1, It is not the thought that Larry is as naieve tactically as Clark was or the prospect of being mid-table next season,,,,, No what is stopping me at the moment is that i do not enjoy the atmosphere at games,, If Hoyley made the Kilner bank and FM lower unreserved and kicked the miserable quiet as a mouse old biddies out and into the Riverside i may well have renewed,, As i have as much chance of this happening as we have of playing 70s Alax type football,, I will probably pick and choose my home games and have a couple of social away days,, Its gonna be a few saturday afternoons on the golf course for me next season,, Sorry Dean.

brcey..if we won a few in a row, the noise would go up.. we would all prefer the atmosphere to be better... posh got up with 5000 not making much noise at home...brighton got up with a ground where you simply couldnt hear anything from anyone, mk dons are doing ok playing in a graveyard...

I agree with 38 on the noise front. Its up to the players to put in a performance. Its certainly true that when they put it in the crowd responds and than in turn can push them on even further but they have to put it in first!!!
Maybe Dean just says the players are playing for their jobs in the play off and the fans can vote through applause for those who will get a new contract and those who wont. It can be a half time game for the announcer!!! As money is their primary driver it may be strong incentive!

38 - We could win 10 in a row and the atmosphere wouldnt improve much, The whole stadium set up is wrong, The atmosphere of which you speak is when all the happy clappers join in as against Bordmuff,, As i have said before if Hoyle said "unreserved seating in the Kilner" It would not take long for the happy clappers to move into the main stand,,, Nowt to do with the corners being open, Nowt to do with the away stand being the south stand,, All to do with the hapclaps being sat throughout what should be an unreserved pop side, A stand where season ticket holders should be able to go with non season ticket holding buddies and be together.,,, As has been said before the club under Hoyle n co do not want the 30-40yo somethings in making a bit of noise, The atmosphere even at best is rubbish.

the main reason the atmosphere is carp, is because the type of footy on the pitch is carp. Nothing to get excited about, boring stuff...The new generation of FIFA badge coaches are killing the game with what they think is a 'more technical brand to match that of Spain'...ha blooming ha !
I stopped buying season tickets when I saw what LC was proffering...I've saved a fortune by picking the games I want to watch, which isn't many I must admit. You have to say though, most of it is absolute garbage isn't it ?
