So we have done as best as we possibly could have with a cheeky win at Forest and a well deserved atmospheric extravaganza at home to Coventry.
We played fairly poorly i thought in the forest game, and would of been lucky to get a point out of the game, although as a team we have no luck, so getting that pen and actually managing to score it was a massive bonus and confidence boost!
And all the officials that i have seen this season have been well and truly shocking! Woolford's goal should have counted as although it was deemed offside the replay showed he was being kept onside by the two defenders ifront of him, so go home and think about that one Lino!
But overall a great 3 points to pick up where we thought a point would of been ok.
We played very well against Coventry i thought, and actually played some nice football on some occasions, but needed to up the pace now and then. The OG just brought us back down to the old 'Unlucky City' attitude and was really unlucky for Steado. However after a depressing end to the first half Stead redeemed himself and scored a scrappy but crucial goal which lifted the roof of Ashton Gate in sellout fasion!
There was another city goal dissalowed for a foul on the keeper but i cannot remember who scored?
The next goal was scored by Bolasie who came on for a very lazy and 'not bothered' Albert who had a very poor game. Bolasie managed to strike the ball through 3 Blue shirts which again raised the roof.
And as shaking and nervous as i was for us to hold on Wood managed to lift a bit of that pressure off for us as the whistle went.
Also i think Bretts sending off was a tad harsh. After watching it again i do agree it was a poor tackle but i dont think it deserved anymore than a yellow. Again rubbish officals for you.
I am going to the Birmingham game on Saturday and am looking foward to seeing how we will perform against them.
But i think 4 or 5 Points out of our last 4 games will be enough for us to stay up, but it really is a battle between us and Coventry running into the end of the season, and we need to try and lift away from the relegation line and put either millwall or forest between us and coventry.
Here are my head and heart predictions for the last four games:
Birmingham v City
Head: 2-0 Heart 1-1
City v West Ham
Head 1-1 Heart 2-1
City v Barnsley
Head 2-1 Heart 3-0
Burnley v City
Head 1-1 Heart 1-3
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK THE LAST RESULTS WILL BE!!!
6 points out of 6!

You'll regret having us down as a banker.

Im not quite sure that Albert "wasnt bothered". Their left back Hussey (i think) had a good game and that side of the pitch only really opened up when he went off and Christie came on. Thats when Albert starting playing better and then Bolasise.
If we stay up and Cov go down I would sign Hussey, he looked a decent player to me and would solve the left back issue. I dont think McGivern is quite what we need.

What do you meen by that Braveheart?

I am scared by all our remaining fixtures tbh. Bravehearttyke, I wouldn't put you guys down as a 'banker' but looking at the league table its the game we are most likely to get the most from. Birmingham and WHU want an automatic place and Burnley want the playoffs. You guys are safe with nothing to gain or lose.
Of course - that means your players might be relaxed - which could mean trouble for our tense bunch of stress-heads!

I know, I know just hate it when clubs always think Barnsley is a home banker, I understand where you are coming from though.
You are in a relegation battle, but you have gave yourself one hell of a chance by winning your last two fixtures, I fancy you to stay up now and look forward to doing battle again next season!

The Barnsley Game has now become another 6 pointer as they are themselves in danger of relegation, there is only a 3 point gap between us and the goal difference isn't that great for either of us, as if we beat them and they haven't got anything from their home game midweek then we could overtake them with a win and Coventry also could close the gap right up to them.
