Important Games Today

Unfortunately we need results for other teams to go our way and with that in mind there are some good 'uns today.
Firstly last nights Blackburn game went our way despite the scousers doing their very best to give the points away.
Today we have Wigan, Wolves & QPR in action....keep yer fingers crossed.
On another note I see that Robbo has extended his loan at Leeds to the end of season.......I might be the only one but surely he is better than Alonso at this moment?

I cheered liverpools last goal last night... a lot!

I felt dirty, so dirty I had to go and scrub myself with Lemon Jif and wire wool in the shower...

I agree wholeheartedly with WF on robbo

he is past it, has been for a while, but he always tried his damned hardest for us whenever he played, a propper footballer who will always be welcome back at the Reebok...

I'd settle for QPR getting 3 points from their next two games. Anything less would be a bonus. Swansea are in bad form and have little to play for, while West Brom have been a little useless at home.

Wolves are adrift enough for me to not be too concerned if they get 3 from their two games - although I expect less than 3 and probably zero points.

I hope Swansea beat Blackburn and expect them to. A draw there wouldn't be a disaster - I would've taken Blackburn getting one point from their two games before last night (and still will).

It'll be a bit of a disaster for us if Wigan get anything at all.

If we're out of the bottom three by the next time we play, we have a great chance of staying up - again, that'll be by virtue of the fact that other teams are rubbish, as opposed to us being good, though. Ah, well, I'll take it.

I'll have everything crossed tonight and will be willing United, Arsenal, and Swansea on. Also, I must say that I'm very relieved that no sides at the bottom still have Liverpool to play.

PS On Alonso: I think you're a little harsh on him, as WF says, though I agree that he should've been dropped after the Wolves match. Bad management from OC, that. He didn't want to change a winning formula, but Alonso was very suspect defensively in the Wolves game. Great going forward, but he should've been dropped in favour of Steinsson ahead of playing a good attacking team in Fulham. He was tormented by 33-year-old Damien Duff.

Qpr are the worry. As for Wigan they might as well nominate who is going to 'give' a penalty away or get sent off. Just to add to the delivery of the title to old Trafford. Never has such a poor team won the league. They only have one player of note Rooney and he is not even one of the best 10 players in the world.

You just never know in football, especially at this stage in the season. Thought Liverpool would lose last night - what do I know?

Think QPR will win tonight. Let's see what I know again ...

I've always thought QPR had enough to get out of the relegation zone. If they win tonight it won't bother me that much because I think it's between us, Wigan and Blackburn to who stays up.

I would normally be watching the results but we have a table booked at a restaurant so I will have to wait until I get home.

I hope it's good news, I'll be on tenter hooks all night.
