Kavelashvili made his city debut on April 6 1996 scoring in the derby game against Manchester United

this was the 2-3 game when i screamed at our defenders who fell over each other and gifted the ball to Cantana , who passed it to Giggs, who ran forward and blasted it into the top corner for the winner..

I was sat in the Platt Lane for that nightmarish 3-2, I'm sure I was sat in the Main Stand when Kavelashvili scored.
Maybe the Guinness is finally consumming my few remaining memory cells.
