Northern Ireland drop to 100th in Fifa world rankings

Northern Ireland's slide in the world rankings has continued with them dropping seven places to 100th in the latest Fifa ratings.

The latest drop followed the 3-0 friendly defeat by Norway in late February which was Michael O'Neill's first match in charge of the Irish.

Northern Ireland are level in 100th spot with Antigua.

The Republic of Ireland are up one place to 18th, alongside Switzerland with England down one to seventh.

When did I say the whole country? I said the majority of young people these days are either talking about it or they are acrually moving to OZ. Especially those in rural areas. There is no work here for young people anymore. The place is fecked North and South, but Ginger dude seems to think all is well up here but it isnt.

So it has went from an "unreal" amount of people going , to the majority of youngsters talking about , to some people from rural areas. Make up your mind ffs.

If i lived in Strabane , i would be on the first stagecoach outta there. Even it was to Omagh

Interesting point, most of the immigration over the last 150 years out of Ulster was by Scots-Irish Protestants. North Island in New Zealand for example was orginally called "New Ulster" until the English changed it. Two of NZ's most important PMs were Massey(from Limavady) and Johnny Balance(from Glenavy). The notorious bushranger Capt Moonlite(aka Andrew Scott) was from Rathfriland. He robbed more banks than anyone including Ned Kelly before he was cornered and hung in Sidney in 1877!

More than 50% of the people in New Zealand are estimated to be of Scots-Irish Ulster descent though many of them mistakenly believe they are Scots.

Dont even compare N/Abbey to Strabane ffs, dont make an eejit of yourself (if its possible). I know Newtownabbey hasnt been in the "Top 10 worst places to live" list. I rest my case.

I am not twisting any words by the way , its all there in text , on my pc monitor.

So theres no comparing N/Abbey with Strabane because Strabane was on a list of worst places to live five years ago? despite the fact that its moved out of the top 100 since? Abbey is a hole. So is Strabane. That is all.

GODFATHER:
Surely they cant be that depressing. Isnt there good fishing round Strabane and I believe N.abbey is quite lively with a flourishing music scene.
