Congratulations Mr Warnock, someone who says something and does it, could not see Grayson achieving this. If Rob goes it will be his decision and nothing more could reasonably have been done. If Neil continues with this process paying good money for fewer players can only be a good thing, so all the doubters give him a chance.

But isnt going to in the champ and will probably never will.

Going to be more like the Uefa rules, where you can make losses but only upto to a certain amount

Completely agree U1825.

Great to see none of this 'we don't do our business in public' rubbish and now the ball is in Snoddy's court.

Well done Warnock!

Thought it was very bright of Warnock to tell the fans; 'we've offered Robby a great deal, which will make him the highest player at the club by far ....' I bet Snodds will be afraid to turn it down now, because we'll know he left for cash and sod the club. Whereas Beckford was offered the same wages he was on but got a 3-year extension, and Killa and BJ were offered no more money and Jonny didn't think that under Grayson we stood a chance of promotion. This is great news for the club and shows the style of management we can expect going forward.

There's plenty of players at the club who are bricking it now, because we only know he's talking to Aidy, Adam and Ross at the moment as well as Snodds. Great start Neil, now shovel the shyyte out and get us some winners for a change

Becchio is on £14k per week so if Snoddy's new contract will make him the highest paid player then I wonder what he'll be on. £15k or £16k perhaps?

I hate to spoil the potential party but doesn't this bring back memories of the other so-called contract offers that ended up with the player concerned walking out of ER either for a fee or for free? Howson is the most recent example.

Cynic I may well be but this smacks of ER getting in first with the propaganda and just a pre-requisite before cashing in on another crown jewel.

In my humble opinion actions speak louder than words, get players in of the calibre that we most definitely need and then get Snodgrass to sign an improved contract when the new season is under way and Leeds are delivering on and off the pitch. If he doesn't sign then, ship him out in January.
