Well I'm not impressed with Henderson to be honest he could at least have told the club he wasn't going to sign the contract, shows a lack of respect for the club.

I'm a Leicester fan, but not a wum, I believe Maynard will go to a prem club if he leaves, but am I right in saying he was offered this new contract at the end of the season?
I'd be concerned if it was one of my clubs players.
Hopefully he won't sign for Forest, but if it's about money then he will end up at Leicester the way our owners are splashing it about. Good luck this season

We rather expect Maynard to either sign again or leave for a premiership club even the club captain and manager believe that, as all indications are that is what will happen as his new contract will allow him to leave if a Prem club offers whatever the amount is agreed(something we won't know probably).
Obviously the Club, Mannager and Fans don't wish to lose him but if a Prem club comes for him then we are resigned to losing him unless this is our year to make the next step, before the start of a season every fan hopes it will be a good year for their team as I have no doubt that you feel that way about the foxes.

I'm surprised there's been nothing on the OS about Nicky signing, that makes me nervous but I still can only see him being sold to a prem team if he doesn't sign a contract now.

If he still hasn't signed a contract wouldn't surprise me if went to a fellow Championship side in January but only a top 2 side in the table at the time.

On a side note, would we be entitled to compo money if Maynard did sign for another club next July? He's 24 now, 25 in December. Does the bosman rule apply to 24s and under at the start of the season or at the end?

Shiny city lad, I wasn't on here saying we are going to get promoted, having a lot of money doesnt mean anything, I'm as optimistic as every other fan at every club in the league that's all. As for CMS going Brighton it seems he wanted guarantees of first team football, so
I'm actually glad we didn't get him.
Not prepared to fight for his place.
