Should age really matter when it comes to the finals of a competition? every time I see someone say "Oh we should take some young players to the finals to build for the future" it makes my blood boil, or when people say "Oh he's to old to come and play a possible 3-6 games". twaddlescott. Another farce was Joe Hart, easily our best keep, not getting a start because "he didn't have enough experience". Yes he was young, but I'm not contradicting myself, Joe Hart is not an up and comer, he has proven himself but he can still get even better, which is scary

it's so annoying when players like walcott get called up aged only 18, and when people say players like beckham shouldn't play because they are too old, even though he is easily been our most consistent big name performer, despite him having no pace and not being able to beat his man

Players that should be picked are the ones who are playing well regardless of their age, and I hope we don't keep picking players who continuously fluff it for england. so annoying seeing rooney play game in, game out, and him being such a guaranteed squad member, apparently our best player, when he's always plays rubbish and always turns into a liability because since he's not under SAF he thinks he can do what he wants, ie get sent off

what has he done for england despite his numerous chances to deserve being in the england side? should we win our first two games should he get picked I hope he doesn't come straight back into the side

but then again england winning two games straight, in the finals to boot, is quite a lot to ask for...
