Vermaelen to left back to tighten up the back four. At least he won't wonder up the pitch into terrible positions like Clichy used to do, leaving the back four horribly exposed.
We might lose that attacking option, but Clichy couldn't cross anyway.

While i agree it's no big deal clichy going, i disagree about moving TV there. he is arguably our best centreback, and certainly our only left footed one.
If we sell clichy, we must buy a replacement, unless gibbs has got over his injury problems of last year to the point where he can be relied on for 50+ games.
