I've just thought of something - is Mich that guy in the USA who predicted the end of the world, and when it didn't happen claimed he didn't say that etc ??

It could explain the USA-related user names too.

Wonder if all his IP addrs are from the IETF blocks assigned to the USA ??

Nah, but some of his old(blocked) proxies are from the US.
