Away fans at OT

Found out today that the away fans on Sunday will be in the top tier of the north stand, will feel a bit weird, I always preferred it when the away fans were in the bottom section of the scoreboard end as I feel that away fans should have an end behind the goal (especially for TV purposes), will be interesting to see if the Villa fans will be wearing Opera glasses on Sunday

They will have to play a bit of cloud dodging if they want to see any of the game, i've always thought the away section was quite a nice little perch for away fans but Villa have shoved the away support at their ground into a wee corner rather than the whole stand like it used to be and others have reduced our allocation because we like to stand, though that may be because of the police getting involved rather than the club

I don't think even think Villa have taken up their 1700 allocation.

Villa are usually some of the best away support at OT.

About time we moved the away support from there. For a couple of reasons.

Most other clubs put their away support in the least friendly part of the ground and so should we. Also that corner (where as a kid I used to stand when it was the fearsome Scoreboard Paddock) gives the best views of our magnificent stadium. I have heard that United are trying to sell ST in the 3rd tier Fergie stand which as a spectacle is like watching a game of Subbuteo. If they offered them to United fans in the away corner I am sure they would be snapped up.

Next season, the old Scoreboard Paddock will be the place to be. As of last week there had already been over 700 season ticket holders interested in moving to the south east corner singing section and I'd say that number might not even include the family and friends of those who have registered their interest who also want to move and who knows how many have shown interest since then.

With the same people sitting together week in week out, it should generate a really good atmosphere and hopefully encourage people outside of the singing section and in other parts of the stadium to create more noise.

I can't wait to see what it's like.
