Jonty, I think Ross is as good as he looks sometimes.
Not as bad - if that makes sense? For me, he's one of those players who flourishes in a confident team. He's not one who instills confidence in others - in my
opinion he's not a leader type. But he is a big asset
to the squad and first 11.

When I first saw him at Watford last season he struck me as being in the mould of Ian Moore, never scores and that was true last season.
This season he's getting the breaks, has a great first touch, works hard but sometimes struggles to get free kicks on target or direct his headers.
BUT, as you say, I'd have him around and currently first choice in the front 2.

He's another one of those deft touch types (like Snoddy)
who wander down from Scotland. When you have em,
it's best you try to hang on to them. In my humble, misguided opinion.

A year ago I'd have said no, but right now I agree.

Brut 33?
I thought Hi-Karate was what the ladies sniffed around for nowadays.
Must have been in that hide decades.
May be worth getting in touch with channel 4's Time Team.
Never know, you may find a Stretch Armstrong or sommat.

Who said anything about ladies....? And I didn't say it was a recent purchase...!
I have been in touch with Time Team, they just said they wouldn't help because they'd rather beat themselves on the head with a tub of lard than look for a buffoon that left a tank top rotting in a hide!!!
Although the big oaf with the hat looked as though he might suit the offending garment reet gradeley!
I have never found a 'sommat' but I believe any Stretch Armstrong may have evaporated (It's been so hot down here we have a drought - probably why the garment was originally removed!)

" I have never found a 'sommat'"
Typo, meant Somma. Stretch Somma, obviously.

You're digging a hole for yourself with that one Sol...!
There was also a book, well thumbed, 3,001 Interesting Facts about Watford. Only one page.

Is the page made out of some kind of reflective material, Eric?
