hand than 5 points behind like we were a few months back, lets look at the bright side and remain positive, didnt really expect norwich to win against man city (didnt stop hoping me though), one thing is for sure is that goal difference is outta the question, with no pressure on man city atm they look like their old self again, although i suspect we'll still manage to retain the title this year, fergie will need to buck up the squad to compete with man city next season.

I still think this is like the 08-09 season. Lets win our next 2 games and go to the derby and do a smash and grab win. I would be scared if the gap was actually 2 points with no games in hand though, the way the refs are deciding games.

In fairness to the plebs an unprecedented loss to wigam was never on the cards. Hence the odds with vlog bookies. Even a point at wigan and it would have been effectively over. Its the goal difference thing that has opened this title up again.

How is it wrapped up? Nothing is wrapped up till its mathematically impossible for the opposition to win the title. People said that after City lost to Arsenal, United will win the title. There's still 5 games to for us and anything can happen, I don't want to be arrogant but realistic instead. This title isn't wrapped up till we the opposition can't match us mathematically. It doesn't really still matter as if man utd win our next 2 games, man city confidence will be down and maybe even wolves could get something off man city.
If only we won against wigan, the title would be about when we win it but now there is some uncertainty.
