Fabregas to Barca was always going to take place at some point and at least with him moving to a foreign club it won't improve any rivals in England. With Fab off the wage bill and the certainty that Wenger cannot bring in a like for like world class replacement, this extra money afforded to wages should be used to give Nasri an improved contract as Arsenal can't afford to lose 2 of their best players.

Other people leaving Arsenal will hopefully be the deadwood like Bendtner and Denilson. Also Clichy going to City is no loss whatsoever as the guy has no strengths to play the full back role and is a complete liability for Arsenal in terms of keeping possession, building attacks and defending.
