Sol Campbell attacks Arsenal

Spurs a powerhouse?
No league title since 1961 and no FA Cup Final since 1991.
The general consensus is that Spurs are a decent cup team but never been able to do it on the big stage.
Chelsea and Arsenal are widely respected throughout Europe whereas Tottenham are seen as a nice little club that play decent football bu punching above their weight.
And when 'Arry leaves for England, the best players will be off to bigger clubs and then it will be back to midtable mediocrity, shame really but Spurs don't have the stature to sustain top 4 finishes for a substantial amount of time.

I personally have just read the Sol Campbell article and cannot see what the fuss is all about. I actually agree with and support what he has said. Don't you get it yet? We haven't won anything for 7/8 seasons. If we continued to buy players at the bargain basement counter we may not even qualify for the Champion's league next year. Players are leaving our club in search of money and trophies elsewhere. Our main rivals will definitely strengthen next season and will break the bank if they have to to do it. It appears to me that there are a lot of Gooners out there that have their hearts in the right place but are blinded by the idea the Wenger is god thought and he can do no wrong. Wake up.

My sentiments exactly. It's what part of us have been saying on these and other boards for a while now, only now it's coming from a high profile former player.
The board will not care whether it's us or Sol Campbell saying that, however. Which is the sad part in this.

Many had heard of us before 2004, especially Barca and Milan to name a few both of whom we hold our own against.
And of course winning the CWC against Stuttgart as well
We will spend this summer and come back stronger.
Spurs won't be getting a new stadium it's a pipe dream and you would not fill it.
Back to relegation battles for you again. It was nice Spurs having a decent team for a while anyway, I enjoyed the games between us and hope in 10 years time or so you will get back to competing for top 4 and on par with us and Arsenal

Chelsea respected throughout Europe? Yeah right!
As for your current position, you would have gone into administration if it hadn't been for dodgy money being ploughed into the club.
So behave yourself & stop trying to wind up the calm Spurs supporters on a day Chelsea are due to get spanked! You know it makes sense!
