Yes I said it
Admittedly I don't like Wigan for reasons which have been discussed. I have always liked Bolton since we played them in 1998. Have fond memories of us going there and it's a proper football club.
However I would like you both to win to eliminate a common enemy, QPR who are a stain on the game and the sport. Thug captain, players and fans with no morals and a touch of arrogance/delusion.
No way should a club that couldn't even sell out it's first home or away league game in 15 years be in the PL (only 16,500 and 2,000 seats to sell respectively).
So Wigan you can stick around for another year so long as you relegate QPR and Bolton I am relying on you to stay up I think you'll win at Villa who are poor
Northerners
Hope Wigan and Bolton Stay up

Relax bar an unlikely Chelsea win on Saturday you'll still be a shoe in for 3rd
Besides you kind of owed it to the world having handed QPR a win.

Wigan were unlikely to win today and they rose to the occasion.
I'm sick of the same rubbish every season. We had a opportunity to virtually seal 3rd today and if we lose next week, we would be lucky to get 5th.
It's the same problems every season - we always take the wrong mental approach and just assume teams like Wigan will roll over for us.
They congested their midfield and doubled up on our fullbacks so gave us no width. They defended as a unit and went forward as a unit and counter attacked divinely. They pressed us straight from the off and gave our players very little room to breathe. The 3-4-3 system they utilized was surprisingly effective as their wide players ran up and down the byline supporting the defence. I was impressed with their stamina and fortitude they showed. They've beaten Liverpool, United and Arsenal and everyone wrote them off.
Chelsea will be sky high with confidence and I can't see you going all out for the game against Barcelona, as even RDM knows league is the priority. If we won today, then we wouldn't have needed all 3 pts next Saturday. But now we do and we find ourselves in a situation where we're under intense pressure.
One thing I will say is that I could envisage a Wigan victory today, given how well they played in the previous 4 games and had hoped that our players wouldn't get arrogant and assume we would batter them.
My worst nightmares came true.

OP thank you very much, but this post doesn't show on the Bolton board, think it needs tweaking to Bolton Wanderers. I only saw it as I was looking on the Wigan board.
I too have fond memories of the way the Chelsea fans by and large willed us to score against you to keep ourselves up on the last day in 1998, and the class way Jody Morris didn't make a fuss about his goal right at the end.
