Quick poll - Trophies or CL?

teams are judged on trophies won, not how prestigious a competition they enter is.

Trophies define a club, its why they exsist! top 4 is great but only if you win the cl, sure the european nights are great but its really all about winning.

Trophies are what defines a club but sadly entry at Europe's top table has become equal if not more important in terms of staying at the top - I bet not many know who won the Italian, German, French and Sanish cups even last season (I can barely remember who won ours)

I guess the italians, germans, french, and spanish do.

Trophies in the short term but CL is better in the long term to challenge for the trophies that we really want in our cabinets.

I personally would go for trophies. However, come the summer, I suspect players would be more enticed to sign for a club that will play in the upcoming Champions League campaign than they would be to a club who won a domestic cup (or two) in the season just gone.

And of course, qualifying for the Champions League is worth more to a club than an FA Cup, and/or League Cup success is.

But that's just the pragmatic approach. From a purely personal perspective, I know how I felt after we won the FA Cup last season. It was a more euphoric feeling than the one I had when we qualified for the CL a mere few days earlier.

For me all competitions are important, PL, CL, EL, FA cup, Carling Cup. I expect our team to try and do it's best whatever the challenge, titles or cups, it's all silverware.
