Good morning football fans,
I've wanted to ask this question to you for a long time, but what competition do you want to win the most out of the Premier League and the Champions League. Now for me and I'm sure Manchester United, the league is always the top priority at the start of every season for the players and fans as you're battling through 38 games in arguably one of the best leagues in the world and at the same time stopping your main rivals from winning it. Don't get me wrong, the CL is a great competition but I feel it's just the cherry on the cake.
It'll be a second priority for United, as we usually start the group stages with a mixture of experienced and 2nd team players. Then as we progress, we start taking it more seriously and starting the best players. But the league games we always start the best starting 11, now I've seen some Liverpool fans claim they rate the CL as the be all of trophies. I actually think they say this because it's the last trophy haul they've left to brag about in terms of the amount of times they won it. They've not got the most domestic cups anymore.
What are your opinions on this? Do you think the PL should always be a number one priority for your club?
Premier League or Champions League?

Look at the times of my posts. Half time and full time. Was looking throughout the game though. Very easy straightforward game today.

First round. First time in the tournament.
Drew the defending champions.
What an easy bye that was for Cloughie.

Apparently the European Cup was a lame competition between 1969 and 1998 and any triumphs during that period are totally meaningless.

from probably the mid 70's onwards it was defunct and uefa knew it. they woudn't have totally revamped their tournament for nothing you know.

You could simplify that by just saying that when Villa, Forest and Liverpool won it, it was a worthless competition.

'Dominated City'? That's odd because it was 2-2 over both legs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
They were group phase matches, it wasn't a two-legged tie. And you can't really count the game at the Etihad, as Bayern were already through and fielded a near reserve and not particularly motivated team against you.
The Bayern love in is going to end when Madrid put them to the sword. Bayern are much the same team that put us out a couple of years ago. And that was only because we played most of the game with ten men, No Rooney and a Robben wonder goal. Only Barca and Madrid would have a shout of coming in and winning our league and that's because of the wealth they have. As for United's supposed wealth. We don't splash the cash like others in this league so I don't think you can say we're where we are because of money. It's a factor but so are several other more important factors like the manager, youth policy, structure, inherent attitude of the club and players in relation to workrate and never say die attitude.

Yeah, that's why you spent £60m on three players in the summer, more than what the so-called 'big spenders' Chelsea, or the aforementioned Barcelona and Real Madrid, spent in the same window. The Bundesliga is the fastest rising league in Europe, Bayern are definitely better than any PL team, and I think they'll win the CL.
