With news that Clichy is about to have a medical at City, I was just wondering why so many Arsenal players have decided to leave the club?
It seems strange as Arsenal have qualified for the CL and pay amongst the highest wages in the league, being one of the first clubs to abolish the internal wage cap. Spending millions upon millions more than clubs like Spurs every year, on the extreme wages of players like Arshavin, who earns twice as much as Modric. who still earns 45k, at least for now.
If I was a Goon er I would be very worried indeed. If a teams best players want to leave after Champions League qualification, and getting seriously competitive wages, the future looks very bleak indeed.

I'll play for Arsenal for less than Mr. Wilshere has to spend on court costs, but the club will have to rename itself 'Woolwich United, sorry about the whole Arsenal thing'.

Does it also mean our players are more worth in the market.

Redknappscoat - still obsessed with the better club in North London, still not as funny or clever as he thinks he is.
