SOME REALLY DULL STATS

Chelsea & Spurs have been drawn together eight times before in the FA Cup, with each side progressing four times
■On the last two occasions Tottenham have beaten Chelsea in the cup, they have gone on to lift the trophy
■Tottenham have only won four of their last 13 games in all competitions, drawing five and losing four
■Tottenham have lost their last five FA Cup semi-finals, and haven't the made the final of the competition since 1991
■Only one team has ever been knocked out in more than five consecutive FA Cup semi-finals, but that was Chelsea (six, between 1920 and 1966)
■Overall, however, Spurs have won nine and lost nine of 18 FA Cup semi-final ties
■It is 21 years since Tottenham won the FA Cup for the eighth time in their history. Only Manchester United (11) and Arsenal (10) have won the silverware more often

DANGER STATS

Since the start of the 2006/07 competition, Frank Lampard has scored more goals than any other player in the FA Cup proper (18)
■Chelsea have only lost one of their last 32 FA Cup matches (excluding penalty shootout defeats)
■After being eliminated in seven of their first eight FA Cup semi-finals, the Blues have reached the final on nine of the last 11 occasions they have made the final four
■Excluding penalty shoot-out defeats, Chelsea are unbeaten in 21 FA Cup games, only one side has ever gone longer without defeat in the competition: Blackburn Rovers between October 1883 and November 1886 (23 games)

I'm not blaming Terry personally, it's not his responsibility it's the refs, he was in a great position

bad luck spurs

I don't think anyone in any team would own up and say it wasn't over, even if they were 100%. Football isn't cricket, players are not honest with decisions. Which is why we were all gobsmacked a couple of seasons back when Arshavin told the ref it wasn't a penalty (who gave it anyway ).

But Terry laughing over it
