The treatment some people are giving this kid is so unwarranted. watching this game, if welback had been performing like Rooney has, everyone will be on his back, but because he has scored a penalty his constant misplaced passes is going on notice. This is not a rant on rooney, just saying that criticism should be given to all

hernanbeck would be a good player.

Unwarranted stick, he could easily have had 25 goals this season but he is so bad at one on ones I worry theres more chance of us conceding.

Wellbeck is going to be a top player and the goal was what he needed. As normal though there are fans who have been berating him lately who will ultimately end up loving him - ala Evans, Nani, Carrick.....

let's sell someone who is 21 and is still learning to finoish 1 vs 1's then. Have another Rossi situation

Wellbeck will work on his finishing this summer to be sure, especially his left foot. But he's showing good positioning and has a great physical presence, I think he will be a top-shelf player in 1-2 years. He could have scored 3 goals today if he had confidence in his left foot. A good young player, not to mention I think he could also be a decent wide player. Glad he's on our side. When he gets more confidence, watch out!

great physical presence, I personally think he is probably the most weakest player in our squad. He can't keep his balance, can't shoot without looking like hes going to fall over. Its strange berbatov has a far better shot, far more strength and technical skills but wellbeck tries to stretch defenders more but struggles to score.
