Why is nobody talking about the blatant cheating which went unpunished in today's game?
Why is it more acceptable to cheat in this manner then it is to exaggerate an ACTUAL foul?
Shay Given = CHEAT!

Didn't watch the match, what did Given actually do?

Deliberate handball outside the box.
Now, its not really a big deal, but he should be sent off for it. The lino was waving his flag furiously and the ref just tells him to play on.
My point tho is this...Had it been a united GK that got away with that at Old Trafford, i think we might have seen a few (hundred) articles about it.

Any wrongdoing by a Utd player will be endlessly scrutinized and criticized for days, months and sometimes years.
Any wrongdoing by the opposition will be ignored.

That washed the Young decision, If I were Given, I would have done the same thing, it's called being competitive, not giving up on the ball. It was wrong, but who would have just laid there and given up? We shouldn't complain about anything today, it was a good match and we redeemed ourselves FFS.
