1. Those players are all backup players, and many will be on the way out this summer.

2. Keen was at West Ham with Clarke, and I would take the opinions of Kenny, Clarke and the owners over yours anytime of the week.

I was thinking the opposite. Seeing Agger, Carroll, Kelly, Johnson, and Aquilani fit and training improved my mood enormously. Like new signings compared to the way we ended the season.

And Gerrard yet to come back as well.
