OK, as expected we took a beating at Old Trafford and despite the claims of some, we are still in pretty big relegation trouble. Just six points clear when QPR and Blackburn have four games left, Wigan have five games left and Bolton have six left.
There are some difficult games left for some of our rivals but we HAVE seen some unlikely results recently. QPR beating Arsenal, Wigan beating Liverpool and Man Utd, Bolton winning three on the bounce, Blackburn beating Man Utd and Arsenal earlier in the season. A couple of these 'difficult' games involve Spurs who have seemingly imploded. IT IS NOT OVER. We cannot afford any of these teams to gain confidence and momentum.
This is why tomorrow nights game at The Emirates is CRUCIAL. We HAVE to see an Arsenal win. If not, Wigan will be certs to overhaul us. We cannot have it all hanging on the Bolton game.
So come on Arsenal!
Next big one - ARSENAL v WIGAN

It's not over, but maybe things are crystalising a bit. I think we can discount two of those below us. Wolves are way out of it, and certainly can't overtake us. For Blackburn to overtake our current total, they need at least 2 wins and 2 draws out of their remaining 4 matches, or 3 wins. It ain't going to happen.
So for us to go down all of QPR, Wigan and Bolton have to overtake us. Wigan are the most likely; they've got to better us by at least 1 win and 2 draws, and they've got 5 matches to do it in, 2 of which are against Blackburn and Wolves. QPR also have to better us by at least 1 win and 2 draws, but only have 4 matches to do it in, against pretty tough opposition. While Bolton have 6 matches to overtake us, but need to better us by at least 2 wins and 1 draw; their opposition isn't easy, and they have 5 matches crammed in 15 days.
I reckon its pretty unlikely all 3 will come good and overtake us, even if we get no more points, although it could happen. And if we stutter to another draw or two, it gets harder and harder for them. If we get 3 draws or 1 win out of our not terribly hard 6 matches, QPR for example will need 2 wins and 2 draws out of their 4 matches.
Interesting times, nail biting stuff; we COULD go down, but even if we continue to dish out dire stuff and lose all 6 matches the odds are in favour of us surviving. Just ...

We could go down yes,but I think we have enough points already and I think we will beat Norwich!
So we should be safe, then we can focus on removing the coach, too negative for us,and then the deadwood, problem players and rebuild for better season.
Anything better than this season has to be progress!
