After 90 minutes of huffing and puffing against Cardiff we managed one shot on target and wouldn't have scored if we played into this week. Since beating Derby 3-2 in the first game after the departure of Vaz Te we've managed to score 7 goals in 15 games. Vaz Te meanwhile has scored 9 goals in 9 starts.
Sam Allardyce said on the Football League show he paid 500k for Vaz Te which was a steal while we paid 100k for Dagnall as a replacement. Rowing and the board have as much idea of a players valuation as they have with ticketing.
Predictions for next season;
Lowest season ticket sales for 6 seasons.
Barnsley to be relegated
Hill to resign
Vaz Te to play in Premier League.

thats it uboat get behind the club......
What is really starting to get on my plums is the fact that you start bringing up the fact that season ticket sales are down. Guess what.....the same thing is happening everywhere in football I don't think that there is many clubs in our division that can say they have the same number of season tickets sold as last year.

And we are sounding absolutely toothless again. Hull have had 2 chances and scored. I'm behind Hill and the team but why can't we even create half decent chances? We're going to end up losing heavily again purely because Hull have got players who can create and take their chances, while ours work hard but do nothing in the final third. How hard can it be to create just a few decent chances and have a few shots?

I'll tell you why. Because we play wingers, but don't get players in the box; we play square balls 25 yard out, and refuse to shoot; or we play a lone striker, who flicks long balls to the keeper for 90 minutes
What's more, I see nothing coming from the touchline during the game. I specifically monitored this on Saturday, and both Hill and Flicker were almost motionless for the entire 90 minutes.
I still don't think we'll go down. However, I also don't see where we are going to another point.
I'm still behind Hill, because we're in trouble and I have to be. But i'm seeing no leadership or motivation whatsoever.

Well we scored . . . and we're safe. Could be worse I suppose.
