Dreaded Europa League

With the confirmation that qualifcation for European spots goes down to sixth place now in light of our capitulation yesterday even more reason for us to get the job done and finish fourth to avoid the dreaded Europa league. Talking of yesterday Harry’s a joker. Playing Cudicini in a semi final. Wembley no place for sentiment. Brad all day long for me. The big players have stopped playing for him, notably Modric, Bale and VDV. And we must have the slowest centre halves in the Premiership Carra excluded. We looked timid and tense throughout the whole game as if we didn’t believe we could beat Chelsea. Big questions to be asked of Harry and am not sure he has the answers anymore.

Never a goal in a million years but doesn’t explain all the beatings we’ve had this season. We’ve been tonked three times by five goals. We’re far too open for my liking. Sandro was a must for this game as Parker (who stood alone) was doing all the defensive work. We should have lined up like we did in the league game at the bridge 4-2-3-1 because in playing 4-4-2 all that happens is the VDV has to sacrifice his attacking potential and keeps having to drop into midfield leaving Ade isolated who I too thought looked lively and had little support as a result.

The biggest test of Harry’s managerial career in my opinion because it will be so tough to pick the players up after a big defeat especially as the confidence comes from winning games and since Capello was sacked our form has gone through the floor overnight.Still at least we showed some class unlike the Chelsea fans who booed the minute silence and John Terry who had a big smirk knowing the ball hadn’t crossed the line. No honour in that club apart from Lamps.

I must admit I thought parker played very well, probably our best player

haha, fantastic. No 3rd at Xmas anymore, no mind the gap anymore, so we're back to the old classic of questioning our integrity as a club. Not heard the 'no class' thing in awhile, was beginning to have withdrawal

So Bale/VDV/Modric, etc... all would've owned up to the ball not crossing the line would they???

Also, for someone who obviously feels empathy for him, tell me exactly what Cudicini could've done to prevent goals 1, 2, 3 and 4???

I don't think he did anything massively wrong. We were all over the place.

I think a lot of our players have given up on Harry and it shows, they know he is off at the end of the season and I reckon he has lost a bit of respect from the players.
