Dear Randy.......

...............can you please sell the club; for our sake, the fans. There is some real money out there with the crazy Arabs and Chinese ready to splash billions on their next hobby. We just want a good mgr, and some decent, respectable football being played at paradise, instead of tripe being played at hell.

We know you've put a lot of money and heart into the club and we thank you for the work done on the academy, which is beginning to bear fruit now. But this marriage is really past its best and the future for you and us looks bleak; we just can't see happy times ahead. We're not asking for silverware every year, just a bit of self-respect. We are ready to devote our love to the club as ever, but let not that love be cast aside by contempt.

Please find a buyer, and let them find a new mgr. Thanks.

As far i i see it, Randy has made one mistake.

Unfortunately it could be the one that gets you in trouble...

Hiring the dodgy ticker wasn't his finest moment, a DOF if there ever was one. Certainly not fit enough to manage. Oh, and constructively sacking MON wasn't brilliant either; the guy who kept folk like Downing and Young on board.

If things don't change i fear for Villa next season, something needs to change. I hope you get some quality investment because you're a great football club

Cheers runnings. I think there are some sheep who believe that somehow, this income=expenditure model cuts the mustard; they are confused. Football clubs are not cheap to run or make a profit, Ken Bates aside. The EPL is an expensive hobby, just like owning a Ferrari; if you can't afford the service, don't buy the car. Owners give money for love and because frankly, it's a bloody honour to own AVFC. Folk like RL need to get a grip and move on.

Think you're getting a bit confused here. Of course RL knows that running a club takes money. When he bought Villa he put a lot in, which he didn't expect to get back. He's still putting money in, although not in the same quantities as before. But it's more than gets put into the majority of PL clubs. We can live on what RL puts in. Easily. It's enough to support exciting times at Villa. RL is not the problem.

The problem is, as we all know, RL appointed a manager who is not PL material. Believe or not, it happens, in fact it's quite common. And managerial mismatches of one sort or another are even more common. RL must have seen something encouraging in AM. I doubt if he still does.

All this talk of RL out is a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face. All we need is a new manager. A good one. They're out there. Those that can keep us comfortably in the top half of the PL, which is what we should be aiming for. Come the end of the season that's what we should get. If we don't, then I might change my mind; in fact I certainly will! But until then, I'll just keep hoping that somehow, some way, we'll stay in the PL.

Randy has made a few mistakes sure but I think he is an excellent owner and we shouldn't start kicking the man who is feeling just as bad as us ,even worse as it's his money flowing down the pan!
Houlier was an excellent coach and got us playing good football, who new he was going to have a relapse in health,I applaud Lerner on that decision ,it just wasn't to be!
We all know he backed o'neil but he got his fingers burnt, nobody complained about that whilst it was going on!
His only error was to listen to others in the know who told him Alex would do a great job with quality players around him,we now know he couldn't run a p&#s up in a brewery!
So please leave randolf out of it, he will bring stability and success to our club, look how the academy is shaping up!
