Referees view of Lennon

Sorry its another article about Lennon but calling referees decisions against his club personal is quite a claim. What I can't understand is how Lennon thinks his actions are going to help his side.

Everyone recognises that home sides often get decisions in their favour, so its clear referees can be infulenced by fans. I remember hearing how Jock Stein used to try and influence referees by calling them into the dressing room and act like their best pals. Fergie is another example of a manager who seems to be able to influence refs so to me its clear referees can be influenced.

If I was a ref and a manager ran over to me like that after a game shouting abuse and also moaned about other refs after every loss etc I'd personally be happy to see him lose.

Refs are only human. Lennon is saying its personal, so if it is personal then surely the only person to blame is himself.

Fergie is a ref? He's got more decision making influence on the field than some EPL officials

I notice there is no mention of the goal that was miles over the line at Tynecastle and disallowed in all this.

But oh aye, Hearts got a penalty when the ball hit two players hands....shocking, personal stuff, disgraceful.

The man needs to take a long hard look in the mirror.

I gave him all the credit he deserved for winning the league despite all the tainted nonsense being spouted.

He screwed the nut for a bit there and was starting to get the respect he deserved as a manager.

He's just lost all that respect tho by going back to being a bleating wee sore loser..... the man is such a bad loser its no real, and its not a good thing despite what some bhoys are saying (passion and all that).

He badly needs to learn how to both win and lose with dignity and keep his gub shut...he loves it and bigs himself and his team up when there is a victory, he cant blame all and sundry bar himself and his side when they lose tho, but thats what he does way way too often!

Aye, he's obviously forgotten that Celtic lead the table by a country mile as far as fouls to bookings go.
I can't find the stats for this season, but Celtic also had the most penalties awarded and the fewest penalties conceded.
If anything, their bleating has made Referees go far too much IN their favour

The man's a chump. He's shown little or absolutely no respect for his opponents and thought a treble was already in the bag before they'd even played the most crucial games.
The fact that he is tactically inept, is what is costing Celtic trophies, not referees and linesmen ffs

The problem is and why I don't think Lennon will change is that Lennon would be in the Green Brigade if he wasn't the manager or player.

He also belongs to the section of their support (there are a lot of them) who actually believes the conspiracy against their club.

He thinks like many of them that they should get every call in their favour, whether that call is right or wrong is of no consequence and if they don't get all calls in their favour it's because the refs are "aw masons n' 'at un 'ey don't like us Kafliks ma man." That's why half of their support have no sympathy for refs.

It's also why Lennon and half of their support aren't mentioning Hooper's offside goal.

Soon we'll have no refs left.
