This will be my last article for a while.
Our passing, and our game in general was played at a slow pace. When a team is determined to hang onto a lead and time-waste, you need to pass quickly to beat them. We do not seem to have that player anymore that has the vision to put the ball through on a consistent basis. We desperately need a replacement for Fabregas. Other then Rosicky, we have no pace in midfield and we do not have a Fabregas too make up for that with his passing range. We also have players that hang onto the ball for far too long.
Now, onto the wingers. It is simple, what is the point in having wingers that are not going to get chalk on their boots and attempt to beat their man. Walcott needs to look at Moses as to how he should be using his pace. It is quite clear that Walcott is not a winger. Gervinho just seems to have lost all confidence since he missed his penalty in the ACON Final. He can't even beat a man now which is something that he was doing with ease earlier in the season. With the formation that we play, we need our wingers to support our lone striker and provide the impetus for him to make an impact. Oxlade-Chamberlain does this, as he actually attempts to beat his man.
I think that this summer, it is imperative that we purchase 1 or 2 quality wingers (or just wingers that will beat their men), a quality central based midfielder to assume the Fabregas role in the team and we could also do with a versatile player, so that in the event of an injury crisis, that player could fit in with ease.

chaimberlain proved in his 20 minutes that he is our best 'winger' hye lost the ball a few times yes, but thats because he got crowded every time he got the ball because wigan knew he was the only player capable of doing anything. atleast he tried to beat his man/men

Except he was playing mainly in the centre and looked a bit crap.
