I've never been one to subscribe to the idea our physio's our useless because I didn't really make sense with their wages and our facilities. But with the news of Wilshere being out for the rest of the season I just wanted to see your views on our medical team. Both Vermaelen last season and Wilshere this season have had serious injuries with their comebacks due for around February/March but both suffered numerous set backs ruling them out for virtually the whole season respectively. Surely that can't be a coincidence, is it down to incompetent medical staff misdiagnosing or bringing the players back to soon, something more sinister or just bad luck?
They way we've dealt with Coquelin and Diaby doesn't exactly fill me with confidence either.
Vermaelen Now Wilshere

This may be pure speculation but its rumored Jack has a similar problem to the one Rosicky had when he was out for forever and let me add its not a physical/muscular one

I don't think Wilshere's condition has changed. It's actually good news he won't be going to the Euros - he needs a proper pre-season and a rest from training this summer.
He was overplayed last year (50 starts or something?) and he's young, it came as no surprise when the injury came. I don't think the medical staff are to blame, more Arsene for overplaying him, much as I hate to say it.

What was Rosicky's problem? I thought it was a hamstring tear - was there something else to it?

Rosicky had a muscular imbalance, as far as I'm aware:

Vermaelen had an inflamed plantaris tendon that was causing achilles problems.
And it remains to be seen what the underlying problem with Wilshere is.
I don't mean to denigrate the medical staff at Arsenal, particularly considering my lack of knowledge in the field, but it is very frustrating that we have been without a number of key players over the last season.
I used to think we were just unlucky, but I feel there has to be an underlying cause to our injury problems.

Scape goat syndrome strikes again. What is it about football fans that we always need to find something and someone to blame?
$h1t happens, get over it

Nowhere in my article did I link Arsenals performances with injuries.

====================
neither did I
I was referring to the ridiculous notion that some gooners hold, that Arsenal's medical staff are some how to blame for our players getting serious injuries

But this...ahem...'defecation' seems to be happening to us far too frequently.
It's not so much that our players our incurring injuries; it's that on many occasions, the extent of certain injuries seem to have been grossly misjudged.
Vermaelen, Rosicky, and now Wilshere have all found themselves unavailable for a much greater amount of time than initially anticipated.
